Question: I seems to have upper respiratory throat infection with cough. It has increased from last 2 days. I feel wired taste in mouth after coughing and irritation in upper part of throat. Little bit of phlegm comes out every time I cough and it is more in the morning when I wake up. From yesterday even my voice has changed little bit. No fever and cold.

I am just doing salt water gargling from yesterday and no other medication. Kindly advise on the medicine I can try for this.

Brief Answer:
URTI

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You are suffering from upper respiratory tract infection and this takes a week to resolve.

In my opinion, you should do warm saline gargles along with steam inhalation 3-4 times a day.

I would just recommend a combination of Cetrizine with Ambroxol (Relent).

This is my personal opinion based on the details available here.

Hope I have answered your query.
