What Causes Cough, Chills, Night Sweats And Low Grade Fever?

Question : I traveled to Thailand the first of March for 10 days. Within being home for 2 days I was in the hospital for 5 days with asthma. I have been sick since last Thursday. Thursday and Friday were fever and chills and night sweats. It felt like a head cold. Saturday I felt a little better and Sunday a little better. Today I have a low grade fever and it is getting worse. I am losing my voice and my chest hurts with a deep breathe. I have a cough and over the weekend their was blood at times when blowing my nose. I am still pretty congested. Should I be concerned.

By your history and description, we should first rule out pneumonia in your case.
Your symptoms like fever, chills, cough, chest congestion and hemoptysis (blood in sputum) are common symptoms of pneumonia.
So get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia.
