Question : I've had have a virus for 2 days. I have slight numbness in both hands and feet. Is this normal?
I feel like the infection is in my stomach. I have only slight cough and congestion....negligable, but my stomach feels locked up. I have had a persistent headache all day, and slight stomach discomfort. How can I knock this thing out?

                                    Brief Answer:
try antacids.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
welcome to HCM.
You seem to be suffering from gut infection (like typhoid etc) where it is common to have altered bowel habits like constipation or even diarrhea.
It is also common to have other nonspecific symptoms like cold, feverishness, headache, body aches but distal numbness is rare.
Try some antacids like omeprazole with domperidone for 2-3 days. if you see no response or have increasing symptoms, you may need proper evaluation and treatment.
All the best.
