Such symptoms in early pregnancy can be due to viral fever associated with threatened abortion or hemorrhage around the fetus known as sunchorionic hemorrhage.
I will suggest her to consult an OBGYN specialist at the earliest to get properly examined, get an ultrasound done and further treatment should be done accordingly.
