What Causes Cramps Near The Waist Line?

Question: I have a cramp like ache on my left side, just below and above waist line. yesterday it was across my stomach making me double over. I thought it was something I ate on Thursday but the pain is still there. I did not have diarrhoea.

Thanks for your query.

The pain you have could be due to indigestion if its moving from one place to other. If not then you have to get an Ultrasound scan, where the pain could be due to inflammation of defect ion any intra-abdominal structures.

Meanwhile do take antispasmodics like Dicyclomin to get rid of the pain.
