                                            Question : Hi, my baby is 1 month old. She has undergone BPV( Baloon Pulmonay Valvuloplasty) 20 days back due to severe Pulmonary Stenosis. Her face turns black while crying. Please suggest

Usually if face turns black while crying it indicates that oxygen saturation is dropping.
This can occur in babies with congenital heart disease like pulmonary stenosis even after BPV.
This is because of residual block or associated anomalies.
I would suggest you to consult your doctor immediately.
Her saturation needs to be checked and echo if required.
