Brief Answer:
Renal shut down, septicemia or multiorgan failure

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

As i mentioned cysteine stones are very easily manageable with medications, surgeries and supportive care. But if some one died while being on stones, there is a probability that kidneys failures, renal infections leading to septicemia could be causing it. Apart from it, kidney is a part of chain and it getting affected affects many other body organs like heart , liver , lungs and even brain. So its pretty difficult to comment on what was the cause of death for a patient who had kidney stones of cysteine. It could be directly related to kidneys as i mentioned earlier or it could be a multiorgan failure.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and may god give you patience and relief over the grief of departed soul.

Regards
Khan
