Question : Is there a cause you are aware of that could result in 3 family members living in the same house to have same cyst on the butocks, at same location on right cheek?

Thank you for using Healthcare Magic. Cysts are fairly common. Cysts on the buttock area are not inherited and this is likely to be an unusual coincidence. If the cysts are causing pain, there may be some infection and I would suggest a visit to the doctors for an assessment and possibly antibiotics.

OK. That sounds likely. I asked, because we have 3 cats and I was concerned there may be some 'environmental exposure' to cat feces taking place, resulting in same cyst condition in all household members.
