Question : the last two days I've had dark brown vaginal discharge and it looks like it has texture to it. there's also been intense itching and swelling. there's a little bit of a smell but it's not a strong smell. what could this be and how should I treat it and get rid of the itching?

From the history it looks like you are having some infection. It could be bacterial or a mixed infection with yeast.
Do you have any pain in your lower abdomen or urinary symptoms.?
Are you diabetic or any other medical problems.?
It will be better to get a gynaec check up , esply a speculam examination to rule out any cervical causes like erosion or infection.A swab test can also be taken.
Better to take medicines after examination.

no lower abdominal pain, the only pain I have I'd when I urinate bc of scratching.
no diabetes or any other medical issues at all
