Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern. There are so many causes of darkening around the eyes.
I have few queries-

1)Is there any associated symptoms like allergy/cold?
2)Is there any family history of similar complaints?
3)Is there any history of recent illness like loose motions/vomiting?

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest part of the body and due to this the underlying blood vessels get prominent, causing dark circles.
In some cases it is familiar and due to increased production of melanin pigment in that area.
Low hemoglobin(anemia),any allergy or dehydration due to loose motion or vomiting can also cause periorbital darkening.
Lack of sleep and anxiety can also cause this, but uncommon in this age.
In few cases no cause could be found even after detailed history and through investigations. In that condition it is termed 'idiopathic'.
Sometimes it is just a subjective finding by parents and a dermatologist consultation should be taken to alleviate their anxiety.
I would request you to attach an image so that I can assess the severity and better able to help you out.
In case of anemia on clinical examination you may need to get hemoglobin test done.

I have seen the images. There is mild darkening particularly in the nasal aspect below the lower eyelid.
I would suggest you to get her hemoglobin level done. She may need hematinic supplementation if hemoglobin level is low.
Consult an ophthalmologist and get her visual acuity checked.
Give her diet rich in vitamins particularly vitamin C and vitamin E.
In most of the cases the peri orbital darkening is due to genetic cause.
Application of hypomelanotic cream may help to some extent. For this I request you to consult a dermatologist for opinion and management accordingly.

Regards
