Question : Hi my buttocks is darker than the rest of my body. Please how can I lightening the area to be even with the rest of my body? I have tried hydroquinone creams and even glutathione iv injections, but still no results on that area. Thanks

Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern.
The color of skin is decided by the number of melaocytes in an area and production of pigment melanin by these cells. In certain areas of our body, concentration of melanin production is more leading to darker skin.
By using bleaching creams or skin lightening creams, the complexion of skin can be improved to some extent but it cannot be changed completely.
In your case, you have tried all best possible treatment. It seems to be constitutional in your case. I guess you may apply relatively safer creams like those containing kojic acid, arbutin, glycolic acid. These may be applied safely for longer duration over the skin.
