Brief Answer:
Constipation

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

If your stools are hard and dark, it means that you have eaten very less fiber and liquids. It is usually seen in patients whose diet is fat/ carbohydrate rich but lack fiber. It also indicates less fluid intake

Here is how you should go about it

1. Add fiber into your diet in the form of green and leafy vegetables especially the ones the contain skin like carrot and potatoes
2. drink at least 3 liters of water a day. Avoid arerated drinks
3. syrup lactulose of 20 ml at night after food should help you ease up the constipation.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
