Question : I just noticed a large dark purple bruise on my lower abdomen below my navel. I did not notice it this morning. I have also been experiencing pain in my lower back radiating more toward my left side. I have had numbness and tingling in my fingers since Saturday, not as bad by today but I am still noticing I do not have as much control when I grasp the pen. My handwriting is a little off.

Possible intraabdominal pathology.Need a CT scan abdomen.

Hello, Madam

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through the attached images as well.

This bruise can represent any intraabdominal pathology related .

Hence I advise you to get a CT scan of the abdomenand pelvis ay the earliest.

Further management if any is largely based on test results.

Meanwhile, I prescribe oral pills of tramadol for pain control.Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.
