What Causes Dark Red Bleeding After 2 Weeks Of Abortion?

Question: I had a surgical abortion 2 weeks ago.I didnt bleed for first few days, then I did. It stopped a few days ago but now I have dark red/brown blood? Is this norm?
If you are not having other symptoms like pain or fever then this is normal. But if you have these symptoms then possibility of infection is more. So consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination if you have these symptoms.
