Question : Hello doctor,
I have a serious problem. The area around penis becomes blackish n on my penis there is a small wound comes before some time. I went to doctor and it says scabies. I take medicines sometimes but now on my hips there were red bumps on my hips and there are severe itching occurs when i do little itching from these bumps blood n pus comes out.what is it doctor i am in problem help me out please....

Possible Tinea cruris with superadded bacterial infection.

Hello, XXXXXXX

I have gone through your uploaded images as well.

This possibly represents mixed polymicrobial surface infection.

This is a combination of Tinea Cruris, a fungal infection with superadded bacterial infection.This is certainly not a case of Scabies as earlier diagnosed.

For this, you need dual antibiotic therapy- antifungal plus antibacterial.

I generally recommend my patients oral tablets of Fluconazole and Doxycycline for 2 weeks.Additionally I recommend topical application of Clotrimazole twice a day for 2 weeks to the affected area.This should offer you complete cure.Please check with your physician if shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.
