Question: For the last 5 or 6 days I've noticed blood in my urine. Getting darker each day. I have NO pain or discomfort. Last summer I had a kidney stone removed surgically. Should I go to emergency care or can I wait and see my doctor on Monday?

Brief Answer:
Wait and see your doctor on Monday. There is no emergency here!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this blood that you have noted in your urine. I have reviewed your information fully and there is no need for an ER visit at this time. In the absence of any life threatening or potential complication, I will recommend that you stay back and see your doctor as a regular visit. There are several possible causes of blood in urine and sones is one of the several possibilities. A detailed interrogation and examination would offer clues on what the different possible explanations are.

I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
