Question : Recently I am facing slight decrease in my hearing capabilities. When I watch TV shows, I somehow realize that few dialogue deliveries are not clearly audible to me while the people around me can hear it. Also sometimes I try to keep high volumn in TV because of that. Similarly while listening in phone during a conference call, I need to give extra efforts to listen to some voices to clearly audible. I am not having any ear pain or so. Is this earing problem related to any damage happened in my ear or it's due too much of wax in my inner ear?

Brief Answer:
please get an audiogram done

Detailed Answer:
hello

considering your young age it is not likely that you may be having a neural deafness and the most likely cause for your hearing difficulty may be wax build up in the ear.

Please meet your ent doctor , he will confirm this and remove it for you
Please do not use q tips to remove it yourself as you may damage the ear.

If however , you do not have wax , please ask your doctor to do a hearing test called pure tone audiogram and impedence audiometry on you.

Please upload the results once you get them , so that i am in a better position to help you.

Thanks
