Question : My 2 year old son has deep creases or wrinkles inside of his mouth around the lips and wondering if that is normal? The inside of my mouth is smooth and was wondering if this is something to worry about? I haven't noticed them until he has been battling some cracks in the corner of his mouth for the past few months and was wondering if the 2 are related?

Hello,
The creases are not a concern but the cracks can mean he is not getting adequate water or adequate vitamins. Make sure he is drinking plenty of water or juice and start him on a multivitamin daily. If the cracking does not clear up in a month or so take him to his pediatrician for an evaluation.
