Brief Answer:
keep a close watch on the symptom...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Unless you have had past history of DVT and or have risk factors of DVT, I don't think you should be worried about DVT.

DVT is more likely to occur from prolonged immobilization rather than active muscle exercise. In your case, the pain and sore most likely is from exercise / ankle support injury. I would add ibuprofen 200mg twice a day if it isn't contraindicated in your case for couple of days.

Keep a close watch on the progress. If pain aggravates visit the ER.

Hope I have answered your question.

Regards

Brief Answer:
I wish you early recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Well, thanks for updating me. I noted the typo error before submitting previous answer. If last night was uneventful and you felt better after rest, then I guess we can almost rule out DVT.

I wish you get well soon. If you have no more questions please close this discussion. Yet, I'll be happy to answer other queries of any.

God bless!
