                                            Question : Dear Dr.,
I had vacuum abortion and had my first period on time. The first period was eight days long and a little bit more heavy than my normal. I also started taking Larin fe 1/20 as oral contraceptive after abortion. Now, my second period is missing. It is five days later than it is supposed to be. I also had the pregnent test and it is negative. Does that mean I am in trouble? Would this affect my fertility?

                                    Brief Answer:
Not due to pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The absence of periods after starting an oral contraceptive pill is a normal finding. Since your pregnancy test is negative there is no need to worry. This is not due to pregnancy. Do continue taking your oral pills as scheduled. This is a common side effect of the oral pills. You need not worry.

It will not affect fertility.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The abortion procedure usually does not affect the fertility all. Since you are having almost normal periods there is no need to worry. The mild pain in the belly and back can be muscular and related to intestinal problem.
Hope my answer is helpful.
