Question : hi, i took DMPA injection for 3years and last shot i took at may 2014, after that i stopped taking shots and now trying to conceive. As my periods also not started. In between time i went to doctor and she suggested me tablet primolut N 5mg for 10days 3 times daily. even after taking that also till i didnot got periods. Now i want to get pregnant desperatly but having no clue what to do. Even sometime i feel lower abdominal pain and lower back pain. though i did a USG in which shows my Endometrial echo measures 6mms. No focal lesion is noted on TAS. Just help me to know what should I do to bring back my periods and to get pregnant. Thanks in advance.

Hello

I understand your concerns about not getting periods.

You need to get following blood test done to check you egg reserve and possibility of polycystic ovary.

1. FSH

2. LH

3. AMH.

These tests are going to give information about status of follicles on ovary and why no menses.
