Can continue duphaston
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..
There are many tablets to delay periods.. But since you were on duphaston for the past 12 days, you can continue with the same tablet twice daily till the day you desire to postpone the periods.. On stoppage within a week you are expected to get periods..
Other drugs used for postponing periods are norethisterone, medroxyprogesterone etc..
Hope I have answered your query..Feel free to ask any doubts.. good day..

So I should increase dosage to twice a day correct?
Will the other tablets be more effective? Sorry too be repetitive but I dint want to take a chance.

                                    Hi,
I had another query. Since we are trying to conceive, should delaying my period delay ovulation too? Cause the hope is, to try another iui this month. However since I am going away, it will have to be done once I'm back. So will the dates match up? Our will ovulation happen irrespective of when my period comes.

Ovulation will be delayed
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
Yes, it will delay ovulation.. If she has regular cycles, ovulation will occur around 14th day of her cycle..
If you are planning for IUI, with the delayed periods, the date of ovulation will change. So IUI date will change.. If you are anxious about it, better not to delay the periods now..
Hope I have answered your query.. feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..
