Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
If one misses her period then the possibilities are two,
1. either she i pregnant , or
2. the delay in menses is due to stress induced hormonal imbalances during the cycle, or
3. If she is suffering from either PCOS, hypothyroidism or hyperprolactinemia.
So at present please get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy. If the hcg levels are more than 5ng/dl then she may be pregnant..
