What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

I had a period on the 9th of December 2014 to the 29th.. Which my cycle is 35 with luteal 14 .
I ovulated on the 31 St of December. & I haven't had a period since then.. We are now February 21st 2015 & nothing yet!
So I checked ovulation dates for this month & supposedly I ovulated on the 3rd or 4th of this month so I had sex with my SO since the 2nd to the 5th. .. Ive been having pregnancy symptoms. On 4dpo I had pink/brown discharge then On 12dpo I had brown/yellow discharge & I had it again yesterday on 16 dpo. Ive been having a wet feeling since a week ago, thinking I was getting my period and nothing! Only white clear Cm!! Could I possibly be pregnant? I tested yesterday with a cheap dollar store test & it was negative. No period yet!! Can there be something else wrong?
By the way I am 5'3 & weight 200 lbs... I used to weight 265 but since I've been ttc I lost weight for it. =(
Please get evaluated.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
If you did not have a natural period since December, you need to get investigated both to exclude/confirm pregnancy and if negative, for hormone imbalance.
I would suggest a blood test to estimate the serum beta-hCG titres and also a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs. These tests would give clarification about your pregnancy status.
The several incidents of spotting do not suggest implantation bleeding. Implantation bleed is a fresh bleed that is seen at about the time of the expected period.
Home pregnancy tests read well 3-7 days after the missed period and with a fresh early morning sample of urine. You need to use standard test kits to obtain proper result.
Since you have high BMI, please continue with the weight loss program but make sure you maintain proper nourishment.
Hope I have clarified your query. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

Please get the blood test.

Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
If you do not get a clear result in the urine pregnancy tests, you should go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. This should be followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram.
If pregnancy is positive, the sonogram will give evaluation of the gestational age and the location of the sac. If negative, it will help to know the status of the pelvic organs.
Your symptoms suggest pelvic pressure. This can happen due to pelvic congestion either as a result of early pregnancy as the uterus enlarges or as a premenstrual phenomenon due to increased vascularity.
Please report after performing the suggested investigations. I will be ready to help. Hope this helps.
