What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Negative Pregnancy Test?
Question: I missed my period, even pregnancy test also taken.its shows -ve ( by urine test) .last month I got period on 14th Nov this time I did not get.please help me

If your pregnancy test is negative and your last period was on 14 November, just wait till 20 December, repeat home pregnancy test, if still negative, take Tab. Duphaston 10mg twice a day for 5 days. you will get your period.

thank u mam.generally every month I will get my period before 4 days when calculated with my previous month period date..but this time till now I didn't get period.it making me lot of tension mam.shall I start that medicene from tomorrow ..pls advice me mam..tell some home pregnancy tests mam..I will follow and check it..help me mam

Home or urine pregnancy tests are easily available at any chemists, check early morning urine for pregnancy. Also I would advise you to wait till 20 December as even if your date comes 4 days prior it's better to wait a few extra days as your period may come on its own, especially if urine pregnancy test is negetive.

already I ve checked two times in different lab mam.its showing -ve oly...but still am worrying about my periods..it never happened like this for past 2 years ..every cyclic period I will get before 4 days before itself..but this time not happened..can u advise any other test for me..

If it is negative by two labs, do not worry, that means you are definitely not pregnant. Sometimes stress and anxiety itself can cause a delay. If you don't get your period by 20 Dec take the tablets to get period, till then please be calm about.
These Urine pregnancy test are very very sensitive and can detect very low levels of Hcg( pregnancy hormone), but if 2 are negative that implies that definitely you are not pregnant. Do not worry .
If you still not sure and want very definitely confirmation you can do a blood test for HCG called serum beta HCG. It will show exact value and if found to be zero, you can be relived.

sorry for disturbing you mam.am not in a situation to get conceive, so I no need it.This week am going out of station so I want to get my periods immediately. due to this problem I can't concentrate on my work,making big headache for me.gimme the solution mam.I can't wait for till Dec 20 th .please tell some tablets for getting period immediately.

Your period will not come as long as you take this tablet. Period will come 2-3 days after you stop taking the tablets. Doctors give it for 5 days and then discontinue. But if you do not want to get your period during the travel you can take it longer.

mam can I take ultrasound scan for abdomen and pelvis for conforming is there any problem or not..still now I don't have any indication for my periods.its never happened like this before thats why scaring about this.please tell your suggestion mam or give some other instructions to follow

Urine pregnancy tests are very very accurate and can detect HCG as low as 25 IU/L.So I definitely think you are not pregnant.
Delay in periods can occur during times of stress, overwork, anxiety. Hormonal imbalances can create delay. Only if you are having this delay in period for 3-4 cycles should you consider a ultrasound and /or blood test to check for other causes.
Do not stress yourself over this. Trust the negative pregnancy tests and take the medicine and relax. You will be fine.
