Question : My husband and I are trying to have a baby. I have been tracking my periods and ovulation for 6 months. My periods are consistently 26-27 days and I ovulate around 14-16 days after my period. In March I dint ovulate until 20 days. I am now 7-8 days late. I have taken lots of pregnancy test all which come back negative. I am having slight cramping but that's it. An ideas?
Brief Answer:
As below
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Once in a while , a period may be delayed or irregular.
It may happen due to stress, anxiety, weight fluctuations, exercise, late nights, irregular eating or hormones that you might have taken.
Please get an ultrasound scan to know the status of the lining of the uterus, and then you might be prescribed progesterone tablets to induce an artificial period.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
