Question : Hi, so I just have a quick question. I am a week and a half late. I've noticed that I have had an increase in clear, ordorless discharge in the last week and also a slight sharp pain in my right side. Ive also been extremely tired this week, too. My first thought was pregnancy, but i took a test today and it was negative. I avtually keep track of my periods on a calendar, so I always know when it's supposed to be and I've always been very regular and consistent. I was wondering what else could be causing these symptoms.

I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Most importantly it is to confirm or rule out pregnancy. So it is good that you did a pregnancy test. To make sure though, because in the ealry pregnancy it may not detect the low levels of Bhcg, repeat it after 5-7 days.

If still negative, then don't worry much about it.
Periods can happen to delay in times of stress, extensive exercising or diet. What it is recommended is to wait up to 3 months.
If periods hasn't come after 3 months then you should consider an abdominal ultrasound. Sometimes cysts can give this problem but those are much rare then the possibility of being nothing ( if not pregnancy)
