Question: Hello Doctor,
me and my gf had unprotected sex on 14th april..the next day she took a ipill.. she got her withdrawal bleeding in a weeks time and natural cycle on time on 9th may. Again after 8 days (16th may) we had sex the following day she took an ipill again. Thinking she is gona get her cycle on time , we did unprotected intercourse again on 5th XXXXXXX (her expected cycle was on 8th june)..there was no actual ejaculation inside. She has not got her periods yet and also she did not have any withdrawal bleeding from the time she took the last ipill. On 18th XXXXXXX she had little spotting. We visited a local gyno following these symptoms, she told she is gona get her periods soon, is delayed due to ipill. she had continuous cramping, tiredness and back ache for 4-5 days last week and all subsided . But d cycle did not start. We have been doing regular UPT for last 2 weeks ( 18 days after last intercourse) its all negative. Now the doctor has prescribed her on meprate for 10 days to get her cycle started. Kindly advise us, is there still any chance of pregnancy still..and ipill on consecutive months disturbing her cycle.

d spotting was just once..but she had back ache and intermittent cramps from dat day for next 3-4 days..din knw dat can b a period.coz d gyno told she will get her periods in couple of days with full flow..when it din come.i was afraid it was implantation..coz we did have intercourse jus 12 days b4'dat..any way d hpt's are negative after 18 days of sex..also plz advise shd we continue on meprate..till d cycle gets back ..

Please advise us..we are stressed and anxious..waiting for ur expert advise ..is hpt after 18 days is reliable..and on the use of meprate..

My gf jus told me dat..she is having pelvic area pain and also her leg joints.after started taking meprate...so took her to gyno here..the doctor ordered for an ultra sound..the report came normal..then her doctor told ..to continue d meprate and if her periods don't come..next week..
Thy will do a blood test again..to confirm pregnancy..and may also start suspecting Fallopian pregnancy. Coz of d pelvic pain...wht r d chances of dat kind of pregnancy..coz the US came clear..and our 18 days UPT s after intercours is..normal..and negative..please kindly let me know your thoughts..this is totally unwanted ..will also attach the scan report.

My gf had stopped taking the meprate.today.since it was causing her a lot of hair loss.. she took it for 5 days.. she is still complaining..of lower abdomen pain/pelvic pain..and she says it pains only whn she is not idle or doing some work. when she is resting there is no symptom of pain. please kindly advise us on this...what can be the cause of this. When can we expect her periods to start.

I guess you already knw the case history. My gf stopped taking the meprate b4 6 days. she is yet to get her periods. she is just feeling tired all the time. we did another HPT today ( 32 days after last intercourse) which was negative. is this delay due to hormonal imbalance caused by consecutive ipill consumption in two months, or some thing else, we already did US b4 2 weeks which was normal. please kindly advise us.

Infact my gf got her cycle started yesterday. Our local gyno has prescribed loette for 21 days to regularize the cycle for future. Kindly advise us on this.
