Need an ultrasound abdomen to rule out PCOS.

Hi Mam,

I understand your concern.

Missed periods should be evaluated initially for any hormonal imbalance or Polycystic ovarian disease(PCOS).

I advise you to get an Ultrasound abdomen immediately to look for the above.

I generally advise my patients oral tablets of Progesterone 10 mg for 5 days to regularize periods.So please check with your doctor whether she prescribes the same.

These drugs should be taken only after getting evaluated through ultrasound abdomen.
