Question : My last period was on 6th July and I had an unprotected sex with my fiancee on 8th July and took I pill in 9th afternoon and again I had sex on 14th July and within 3hrs I took I pill. And today is 12th August and I still didn't have my periods as it is delayed by 7days. A bit worried what should I do?

Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
The period is delayed most likely due to side effects of I-pill which you had in previous months.
I- pill cause hormonal imbalance because it contains high dose of hormone in it.
But as a rule you have to go for a home urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy because you missed your period by 7 days.( though the chances of pregnancy are very less).
