What Causes Delayed Period After Taking Primolut?
Question: Hi I had sex with my boy friend around 27 of this month.we used protection mostly yet he's sure he didn't release any sperm in me.e had sex few times before this way and my periods were on XXXXXXX my periods were due on 29 and ItTook premolute on 27.til now iDidn't get periods .and did pregnancy test twice which was negative .could u tel me wat could b reason for not getting periods til now? ? Should I worry about pregnancy? ? Please help

Hi ..I took it. Only on 27th..and stopped after that...I took it on 26th night for 27.only 1 tablet..

What was the reason for taking it ?
If it was prescribed to induce period, it should be taken two tablets daily for atleast 5 days and then stop. Taking this pill without proper guidance will lead to irregular periods.
If you always have irregular cycles, consult a gynecologist for pelvic ultrasound scan and hormonal levels.
If you have regular cycles always, then take a pregnancy test.
Besides preggnancy, reasons for delayed periods can be stress, anxiety, tensions, weight loss or weight gain etc. In such cases periods can be initiated using meprate tablets. You should ask your gynecologist about this.

I have used it earlier too and never had irregularity in periods for past two years...I'm experiencing period pains as usual two days before periods from three days but no sign if periods..pleas suggest within wat days I can expect periods
