What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking I Pill?
Question: Hi - it's in regard to delayed periods after consumption of I-Pill. Actually after having unprotected sex, I took I-pill with in 12 - 15 hours and got withdrawal bleeding after 4-5 days of intake and after 3-4 days periods (5-7 July). So I think my cycle got changed to 5-7th of the month. However I haven't got periods which is delayed by 10+ days. I did get some bleeding (a drop) for 3-4 days around 10-14 aug but haven't got regular bleeding. is it due to I-pill consumption. is there any possibility of being pregnant however i did get periods after i-pill's intake. pls suggest. Thanks!

Sometime I- pill can changes menstrual cycle and causes menstrual irregularities in some patient may be it is with you also.
In this situation you should wait and watch for your period pattern for 2-3 months then it will regularise to their normal pattern by there own.
I want to clear one more thing here that I - pill can prevent pregnancy after your previous sex, if you had other unprotected sex after it then I-pill is not having any role in it.
So if you had no sex after it then the chances of pregnancy are very less in your case.

Can I-pill disturbs the menstrual cycle this way? or I should get a pregnancy test done. actually I am so scared as probably you can understand I am not married.

I did urine pregnancy test today with morning urine and it came negative. however the pink band appeared immediately (in sometime) though the prega news suggested to wait for 5 mins. did i do any mistake? was my test invalid?.
and on the other note; util which pregnancy month, the abortion pills can be taken if you are pregnant? I had sex on 22nd july and it's 25 aug today, just wanted to know though the result is negative.
