Question : my wife is lost her period by two weeks. we doubt for pregnancy. so she took Mifepristone tablet on wednesday 8 Am and after 48hours misoprostol tablet Friday 9 Am today morning. but still now she had no bleeding except lower abdomen pain+diaheraa. what is the reason for that???. she have twin baby's by caesarian operation before 6 months. what shall we do next for abortion??

Hello,
The pregnancy should have been confirmed by urine test and ultrasound first. Once a intra-uterine pregnancy is confirmed, medical abortion pills should have been taken. You get only one shot at that. If there is no bleeding withing 24 hrs of the misoprostol its possible its a failed attempt. In that case, only a surgical termination will be effective. Consult a doctor immediately.

We have Checked Urine pregnancy test by tester at 12 pm night now.It shows result as "negative" with 1 pink bar clearly.Is result shown because of misoprostol effect or its normal irregular period ?.Normally my wife have usual by 28 days period cycle.what is reason for lost her period??.Is pregnancy test is effective in morning or night? or shall we recheck test in early morning

If the test is negative, then she is not pregnant. This delay could be due to ant hormonal imbalance or uterine pathology. She will need further testing. Taking misoprostol and mifepristone without being pregnant can cause side effects like cramping, irregular bleeding. Right now, the cause of the delay should be determined. Wait a week for spontaneous menses. If it doesnt come, see a doctor for testi g and ultrasound.
