Question : I'm 48 and For the last couple of months my periods have been at 20 days and 22 days. Today is the 28th day for this month and still no period. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress and have woken up every hour on the hour for the last 6 weeks. For the last couple of weeks I have been running a fever off and on. I have lost about 5 pounds but have an appetite. Several years ago I was diagnosed with an eye disease called uveitis which is associated with arthritis. Last week my muscles hurt in my upper legs and were very stiff. After a day or 2 that went away but my legs were sore to the touch. I know that the fever and the muscle aches could be related to arthritis or a hormone imbalance.
Brief Answer:
Delayed periods
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic. .
You have guessed it right.
Delayed period is due to hormonal imbalance associated with physical and mental stress you are undergoing.
Such events in life are known to alter the hormonal balance and cause variation in periods.
My advice is to wait for few more days for periods to occur normally.
The other option would be to progesterone medicines to get periods.
The fever leads to muscle pain and arthritis which takes about a week or two to recover.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Fever is not related to hormonal variation.
If you are getting night fever for a long time you need to get some blood tests done after visiting your physician.
There could be infection causing fever. Need to diagnose the infection.

Brief Answer:
Arthritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
As I told you earlier the hormonal imbalance has nothing to do with fever.
Rather arthritis associated with another infection( needs to be diagnosed) has caused muscle pain and fever.
In physical stress like fever and arthritis along with stress leading waking up early causes delayed periods. Hence you dont need to worry or get treated for getting periods as it is not necessary.
Instead you should see a physician for diagnosing cause of fever on and off and associated arthritis. Important to treat the same.
