Brief Answer:
Advice below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your wife health care.
Congratulations on her pregnancy.
It is very common that symptoms of depression may get increased during pregnancy due to hormonal imbalance.
Amiride is TCAD group of drug and can also be used during pregnancy.
No antidepressants is safe during pregnancy but they are giving if treatment is important.
As in her case if she was controlled on previous medication than why you switch over to another medicine.
Because antidepressants can not be changed so frequently and tapering of dose is important.
I know lamotrigine( epitic) is much safer drug but as her symptoms are control on amiride,in my opinion you should again consult your treating doctor and start amiride again.
As she is in her second trimester hopefully we can use amiride, though the risk is always be there.
Hope found useful, and sorry for the delay in my response.
Good luck.

Mam
If fluxotine is safe then what will be the doses as she is taking epitic morning and night after food.
Fluxotine 20 mg morning and night along with epitic will be sufficient to cure.

Brief Answer:
Consult your treating doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
Sorry for such a long delay in my response.
As we discussed before that no drug is safe during pregnancy but treatment is very important.
So in that ways fluoxetine is a safe drug but these all are prescription drug and can only be taken under supervision of a doctor.
Combination of antidepressants needs doctor prescription and supervision.
So consult your treating doctor for dose management according to her need.
Hope found useful.
Sorry for the long delay.
Good luck.
