Brief Answer:
The diarrhea might resolve of its own gradually.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef, a general surgeon answering your query.

I have gone through your history. I would like to know a few details from you:
1) Your dietary habits, that is if you eat frequently from outside, and if you go frequently for fast foods.

If you do, please try avoiding it.It is best to have home cooked food or carry the same along if you are busy. Outside food is usually prepared not in very much a hygienic conditions, and intestinal infections might creep in resulting in diarrhea off and on.

Apart from this, few patients post cholecystectomy might get diarrhea which usually resolves by itself. Medical intervention is needed only if it persists, and causes much problem to the person.

Some modification in your diet towards more of roughage and sufficient liquids could also help in this. It is always better to avoid oily and fried food specially from outside vendors.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
