What Causes Diarrhea Along With Flatulence In A New Born?

Seems not to worry about from description
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health concern.
I read your description carefully and I understand your concern.
It is quite normal for a baby to change routine. They may poop 5-7 times/day and then may be up to 5 days without pooping- that is perfectly normal.
So what you are describing seems perfectly normal to me. Her bowel is getting used to the environment and the breastfeeding (or baby feed if you are not breastfeeding).
I would be concerned if she has fever, if she cries and doesn't stop, if he doesn't feed at all.
If you are breastfeeding then it is less to worry about because breast milk is a good protector from infections and other things, so healthy babies in general don't have problems until they become 4 months.
So my main recommendation would be: Take her to the pediatrician if she cries without stopping and reason, if she doesn't feed at all and if she has fever or vomiting.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications or have other questions.
Take care,

Not taking breastfeeding at all is worrisome, but taking less is ok
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Should be ok if she is taking smaller amounts. She will be hungry soon and will take bigger amounts of it. Not taking breast milk at all would be something to worry about.
However, if she is too drowsy, or very irritable and cries continuously, and starts crying when you touch her tummy, it would indicate infection in the stomach and intestines.
Remember to feed her every 2 to 2 and half hours once, and feed her from one breast for at least 15 minutes so that she gets the hind milk as well (the thicker milk which will not only fill her tummy but also provides nutrition, the fore milk is thinner and has more water, fills the stomach faster but is less rich in essential nutrients).
More than passing stools, passing urine is a better indicator of good nutrition and adequate feeds, your daughter should pass urine at least 6 to 10 times a day, passing stools even once a day is quite normal.
Watch out for irritability, drowsiness, refusing to feed at all, cold extremities (hands and feet colder than tummy). In which case you will need to consult a neonatologist immediately, as these are signs of infection.
Remember to keep your daughter well covered in thick clothes to prevent hypothermia.
I hope this information will be of help to you.
Kindly keep me updated.
Take care.
