Question : I have had a bout of diarrhea today. I am also achy, cold and weak. I have a very physical job and this is unusual for me. I was bitten by a tick several weeks ago. Is this related or an unrelated condition?

Brief Answer: I think, unrelated to tick bite. Detailed Answer: hi, A bout of diarrhea may be due to an acute infection of your gut, which should subside with OTC drugs or spontaneously. It is common to experience fatigue, coldness after diarhhea. Taking electrolytes and a little salt will help. A tick exposure typically makes a focal and diffuse body rash, lymph node enlargement and fever before other signs of toxicity manifest. As several weeks passed by, I don't think tick bite is related to this with all other symptoms being absent. Hope i am clear.
