Question : I am a 66 year old man. I got the new pneumonia shot 13 days ago. Sense then I have had diarrhea and joint pain. Last night was the most severe. I am going to fast for 24 hours with just water. Any ideas?

Hello. This is a known side effect of the shot

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Your symptoms sound very much like a typical side effect of the vaccination, but since this has been going on for so long you probably have developed a bacterial enteritis.

You need plenty of electrolyte rich fluids like juices and GatorAde but unless this resolves in another two days you need to see your doctor for stool cultures and antibiotics.
