Question : I take ambin at night for sleep, last few days have mild diarria, can I take some Imodium, thus mix? recently had a close friend pas, and depressed, I am 77 years old, stopped drinking few months ago.

Hi,

I will like to know more about this diarrhea.

1. How often do you go to the toilet?
2. Is there blood or mucus in the stool?
3. Do you have any pain?

It is okay to take imodium with ambien but I want to first determine whether it is necessary to take imodium as it is not often advised in cases of acute diarrhea. In the interim, drink much water so as to replace any fluid and electrolytes lost.
