Question : my child has had some fever diarrhea and vomiting all day could it be the stomach flu because she complained about stomachache too... If so should I take her immediately to the doctor or is it something that just needs to pass her system ?

Hello. I just read through your question.
The symptoms you describe sounds like a stomach virus. The key objective with a stomach virus is hydration. As long as she remains well hydrated, we can allow this to run its course on its own. If at any point she begins to dehydrate, I recommend consulting with your doctor. Hydration status can be determined by how many times per day she urinates. If she urinates between one and two times per 24 hour period, she is well hydrated. If she goes 24 hours without urinating, that is a sign of dehydration.
