What Causes Different Odor In One's Breath, Urine, Stool And Body?

default
Posted on Mon, 1 Apr 2024
Question: About 4 months ago I notice a different odor in my breath, urine, stools, and overall body odor. It is only noticeable to me. As a general description it is a burnt wet wood type odor. This odor coincides with a trip to XXXXXXX but I have no reason to think they are related. I am 68 years old and my overall health is very good. I am not overweight and I exercise 3-4 times a week. I have a healthy diet. Where is the odor coming from and should I be concerned? What should I do to find out why this is happening?
Thanks much

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned about!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I have reviewed this information fully. Normally, others should pick up any associated odor with you and not you. This is because your smell buds get quickly accustomed to and would no longer pick them up. The fact that only you picks them and continues to do so points to the point that this is more in your mind than real. Until people complaint about it, it is not real. Ask a few trusted friends or your partner if they do get any odor out of you.

Free your mind. Let go this belief you are holding unto and all would be fine.

I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.

I have had my wife test for smell and she can also identify the smell. I am sure if I had other test for the smell they could also identify the smell. Given the fact that others can identify the distinct odor as I have described I don't think it is in my mind.
Are there tests or clinics that can help me identify why the new odor?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Simply ask them, don't state any odor!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Meet a neutral friend and ask if there is any odor. If yes, what is the odor they are getting. If these coincide, only at that time would any further investigations or evaluations be advised. Remember, they must not 1. know that there is any odor and 2. Come up with the same odor as yourself.

Let me know how this goes.
