What Causes Difficult Urination And Pinching Sensation Between Scrotum And Anus?

Question: I'm 25 yr old male I recently have been in the clinic getting tests done. about almost 2 weeks ago I was having difficulty urinating and felt like I had to push to get the urine to come out. I also would feel a pinching sensation between my scrotum and anus. On top of this I had some anal pain and had noticed a mucus-like discharge after wiping. Sometime a pinkish tinge to it I guess indicating some blood. I was sexually active 3 weeks ago with my partner and was on receiving end of anal sex. I was in a bit of pain after but it didn't seem too bad. I have had blood and urine tests done and apparently my bladder and prostate are normal nor is there an indication of an STD. I was on antibiotics but had an allergic reaction and broke out in a full body rash. Currently I still am noticing the mucus as well as having anal itching. I also feel the pinching sensation under my scrtum when I ejaculate. I also have been having small infrequent bowel movements and still cannot urinate without pushing. I thought maybe anal fissure or hemorrhoids but am not sure that this would cause urinary problems.

Brief Answer: Get your stool tested! Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have been experiencing. It is for sure not a straight forward presentation as the symptoms seem not totally explained by a single pathology. I am however of the opinion that the problem should be likely found in the genital or digestive system(lower end). In this light, I will like that you get some basic tests done to identify a possible lead and follow through. For this, I will recommend that you get a stool exam as well as a urinary exam. Depending on the initial findings, we would be able to follow through and ask for more tests should more information is required to pinpoint the possible origin of these symptoms. A treatment plan would then be established accordingly. Do you always use protection during intercourse? Also, What is your sexual orientation(homosexual or heterosexual?). This would help me and please do not feel any bad about this. In any case, protection during intercourse is a very healthy attitude. I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be. Thanks for using our services. Dr. Ditah, MD.

Hi thank you for the response. I am suppose to be contacted by a urologist as per my physician's request but I have nothing set for stool testing. I am a homosexual male and have only one sexual partner. I did use protection during intercourseand prior to having intercourse I was not sexually active for approximately 5 months nor have I been since the symptoms started.

Brief Answer: Thanks Detailed Answer: It is a good idea to get these symptoms investigated and manged before you continue to move on with our sexual life. Well, I am sure your urologist would consider getting a stool exam just to make sure all is well there as you also have some anal/fecal related symptoms. let me hear from you on what the findings are and the what the plan is. I wish you well. Dr. Ditah, MD.
