Question : She is still breathing normally but not waking up always asleep - was drinking a bit of water now nothing - doctors say fhey cant do anything because shes old

I understand how difficult this is to you an dthe entire family. It is never easy to see your grandmother go through this.

I understand she cannot eat or drink. If she has an IV line with fluids and electrolytes going through, there is no reason to get to worried as her daily needs would be fully provided via this route.

If she has no IV line, please ask the doctors what the plan is. Also, do not be scared to ask them what the prognosis is. They might have other plans that we may not be aware of and this might be the reason for continued worries.
