Question: I am experiencing tightness across my diaphragm and runs across the back as well as front. Plus it hurts to eat?

I have had this tightness for two weeks. Yes I have tried ibuprofen and Bayer aspirin. I am taking high blood pressure medicine only. My back keeps spasm in mid back region.

Hi again

As you explain the history it seems to me to be a gastrointestinal discomfort,from the stomach or from the intestines or from pancreas gland.

Usually gases in the intestines causes this kind of symptom.

However acidic reflux from the stomach as well.

I reccommend you to take Omeprazol once orally before breakfast for two weeks. To be careful with the food, no spicy no alcoholic.

If you will feel better again nothing more to do.
If not than probably some tests are needed for example :

Abdominal ultrasound

LDH

Lipasa in your saliva

However start the above treatment and keep monitoring the situation.
