Question : My husband's blood pressure - he took his medicine this morning. Now, he is having trouble maintaining his balance. His last reading was 95/65 with pulse of 75. What corrective action should be taken?
Brief Answer:
Get tested.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I suppose by using the word difficulty in maintaining balance you mean to say that he has difficulty in standing straight.
If it is so it can be a sign of Stroke. Posterior circulation stroke present like this only.
Let me know following:
1. Since when he is having this problem?
2. Any double vision, vomitings?
3. Any difficulty in speaking?
In case he has these take him yo hospital for evaluation of stroke.
He would require MRI brain.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Yesterday and today trouble with balance. No double vision or vomiting. No difficulty speaking. He has not been eating much lately because of dental procedures.
Brief Answer:
Get him evaluated
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I am worried for stroke because he is hypertensive.
And so he is has risk factor for stroke.
He might be having vertigo due to dental pain and manipulation but its always better to be sure.
So my sincere advice for you is to take him to a doctor, let him evaluate clinically. If he feels there is a possibility of stroke he would order a MRI of brain else would start him on anti vertigo medicines like cinnarizine.
If you have any further query please ask me. Else close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.
