Thank you for the query.

Have you had any colonoscopy done in last 10 years? Are you able to pass gas? Is your abdomen bloated? Do you have nausea, vomiting?
If you have any of mentioned symptoms, are unable to pas gas and have not had any colnoscopy recently, bowels obstruction can be the reason.
In such case you should not wait and consult general surgeon. Abdominal x-ray should be done and colonoscopy considered.
