What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing And Spasms In The Neck Muscles?
Question: I take 40 mg of pantoprazole sod dr but have started having t rouble swallowing and will spit up liquid, not food, but after a few minlutes will get okay for swallowing. Do I need more of the medicine or what should I do. my e -mail is YYYY@YYYY

I feel you should not neglect this problem at this age. Pantaprazole is a good drug. You should get an endoscopy done to visualise what is causing temporary swallowing issues. There are certain oesophageal conditions that cause spasms and cause difficulty swallowing.
you should meet GI specialist for barium meal x-ray or upper endoscopy. He can prescribe you medicines after noting cause like prokinetic which ease the difficulty.
