Question : I have what feels like a pinched nerve. I can barely walk on my left foot and have pain in my hip radiating down my leg. Nothing prefaced this (falling or accident). This pain came on me after sitting in an office chair for about 4 hours yesterday. Today is slightly better, what do you suggest?

Your symptoms sound more like a spine disc herniation. Due to compression on the nerve in the spine area, you get the pain radiating to one side foot. Due to long sitting, some swelling has appeared what makes the pain even worse.
I suggest you to have a rest for a week (no lifting, more lying than walking) along with antinflammatory medicines like Diclophenac.
In a meanwhile you should consult orthopedist and consider spine and pelvis MRI.
