What Causes Diminished Sense Of Smell And Taste?
Question: I have SLE and recently diminished taste and smell, chronic severe headaches, unable to drink wine and crave sweets which is unusual for me

Well it is a common problem with Sle.. that is in pong standing disease one develops dryness of the mouth and eyes leading to decreased saliva and loss of taste. So one thing I would like to know is your dental part.. do you have any caries and how S the saliva production.. do you experience itching in the eyes as well?
2. you should check your vitamin b 12 levels as well as they can cause loss of taste
3. I am not sure why you are on warafarin.. and I hope. you are not taking excess of celebrex.
